ABOUT KRISTIN::

Kristin is a practicing artist, commissioning works for over 25 years, now living in Sydney, Australia. Kristin originally studied and excelled in fine arts and education at the Alexander Mackie Art School in Sydney, the home of many renowned visual artists worldwide and has developed into the respected artist and illustrator that she is today.

Kristin's specialty is portraiture of both people and animals. Kristin is able to capture the essence of her subjects and portray their personality, beauty and individuality.

Her work is varied and not limited in subject matter or medium. She works in pencil, both lead and coloured pen and ink, charcoal, oils, gouache and watercolours or a combination of mediums.

Kristin has executed commissioned work from a large number of corporate bodies including Qantas Australia and Sony Music, as well as private clients.

Another significant part of Kristin's career is as an illustrator. Kristin has been commissioned for cover designs and illustrations in numerous published books. Many of these will be will be included on one of the web galleries in the near future.

Kristin also repairs and restores works of art. She also teaches private classes for children and adults in her studio at her home. I hope you enjoy browsing Kristin's work - there is so much more coming.
